Hampton Library in Bridgehampton is very proud to launch our new, up-to-date website. Our old website served us well, but technology continues to develop and with this redesign we will be able to take advantage of the most current tools to make our service more effective. We’ve designed our site to be more contemporary and easier to use in order to help you better connect with our services, both online and on-site.
We hope our homepage welcomes you with a cleaner, more attractive and uncluttered design featuring a better calendar of events, simplified site navigation and livelier content. This new website is intended to be a seamless gateway to our many online services, including the Catalog, Databases, ebooks and eaudiobooks, and other Useful Links. In short, our goal is to make your visit to the "Virtual Branch" of the Hampton Library a more exciting, welcoming experience. New features include...
In May I celebrated my First anniversary as Director of the Library. In the past year I have met and become friends with so many wonderful, caring members of our community. I hope to spend many more years building relationships and serving our library patrons. Even though I have only been here a short time you have all made me feel welcome and at home. Thank you.
You may have noticed some changes at the Library in the past year. The change I am most excited about is the installation of automatic handicap accessible door openers. The openers were purchased with money raised by the Friends of the Library.
The Hamptons may be a destination for many vacationers but I believe the Library should be a “destination” for the community. Join us this summer for incredible programs for all ages, summer reading clubs, and a cool spot to beat the heat. Feel free to use our computers or bring your own and connect to our wi!. Thanks to a grant from the Bridgehampton Association we now have two iPads available for use in the Family department.
