What the Proposed Budget Means to You, the Taxpayer…
If your home was assessed at $1,000,000 for 2015/16, the Library’s share of your property taxes would have been $148.50. Under the proposed budget, this would increase to $151.26, or by $2.76 – for the entire year. Kelly Harris, the Library’s Director, will be happy to answer any questions you may have about the budget. The Budget Hearing will be held on Wednesday, September 21 at 3:30 pm.
