Annual Budget Vote and Trustee Election


VoteOn Saturday, September 28 the Library will hold its annual Budget Vote and Trustee Election
in the Library from 10:00 am -7:00 pm.

Copies of the proposed 2014 Budget are available at the Library and have been published in the Autumn 2014 edition of The Link, the Library's newsletter.

Residents of Bridgehampton will be voting on two open trustee seats. Trustees Gail Davenport and Elise Quimby finish their final three year terms on September 30, 2013. 

Residents of Sagaponack will vote on one trustee seat. The Honorable Bruce Kaplan is running for reelection for his final three year term. Library Trustees are an important link between the Library and the community. 

Absentee ballots will be available to eligible voters at the Library. The Budget Hearing will be held on Wednesday, September 18 at 3:30 pm. Kelly Harris, the Library’s Director, will be happy to answer any questions you may have about the budget.

Erik's Reptile Edventure!

The summer is ending but the fun is not.  To celebrate the great summer we had we are having a special guest at the Hampton Library.  Erik's Reptile Edventure will be visiting and he will be telling us all about his friends.  Erik has explored many different places to learn all about these animals and loves to share his experiences and friends with the crowd.  Join us Saturday August 31 at 3:00 pm to take part in this can't miss event.  Registration is required as space is limited.  Call 631 537 0015 or speak to a children's librarian to make reservations.                                     

         

Hamptons Take 2 Film Festival

A documentary with great relevance for today, Kings Park brings to light our nation’s current crisis in mental health care and helps us to understand how we got here. Revealing the lessons of the past as a means of generating open discourse, Kings Park offers a creative platform from which we can face the challenges of the present and imagine the possibilities of the future.
