Visit the Hampton Library's Geri Bauer Gallery to see the work of the talented students from the Bridgehampton School Digital Photography Class. The students photos will be on display until the end of June. Remember the Hampton Library is now open until 9:00 pm Monday through Thursday. Stop by after work or dinner to check out the amazing art we display all year long.
Memorial Day has come and gone and so begins another Summer Season here in the Hamptons. Welcome back to our returning summer residents and a friendly hello to all of our new visitors. I hope to see you often at the Library.
Here are just a few of the exciting new services we offer:

Teens and Tweens can join us for Minecraft Club, Improve your public speaking skills with Toastmasters, Learn about Wadrobe styling with Fashion expert Carmen Adriana, or take in a Hamptons Take 2 Documentary film. Check out our online calendar and The Link for more information.
We have an App for That! The Hampton Library mobile app is available for FREE in the Apple and Google Play Stores. Download the app to use your virtual library card, get push notifications about special events and coming soon...Shelf Check out! Check out your items using your smartphone or tablet device.
Museum Passes! Check out a pass to one of many popular museums including local favorites SoFo and CMEE, as well as, the Intrepid, the Frick, MoMA, Children's Museum of Manhattan, Guggenheim and others. Passes circulate for 7 days from the Reference Desk.

Thank You Dayton, Ritz & Osborne for our Mobile Device Charging Station! If your mobile device is out of "juice" relax and recharge it here at the Library. We ask you do not leave your device unattended but there is plenty to do while you wait for your device to power up. Enjoy a book, magazine, or newspaper. Check out a laptop or iPad for in library use and more.
Touch our Technology! Contemplating diving into the digital age with a new tablet or eReader. Try out some of the popular models we have on hand. Nooks, Kindles, tablets and iPads are all available for you to touch. Its like a petting zoo for technology.
Downloading Materials just got more intereseting! Along with our downloadable ebooks and audiobooks we now have indieflix. Thousands of independent films from around the world are now available via our website, all you need is your Library Card.
Oh and we have a Makerbot 3D Printer and Digitizer! Stop in for a demonstration. Tweens and Teens can sign for our 3D design workshops. Savvy enough to create your own 3D item and need to print. Let us know and we will get your item printed for you.
Thank you to Dayton, Ritz and Osborne for sponsoring our courtesy charging station. Not only can you recharge your batteries metaphorically at the Library but now you can literally recharge your smartphone, tablet and eReader while you are here. The charging station is in our main reading room so you can easily keep an eye on your device while browsing one of our magazines or reading the local papers. Stop in, Recharge and Read!
